Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our team at General Dynamics NASSCO-Bremerton. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on sheet metal equipment and systems
  • Assure that all work is done in accordance with safety protocols and regulations
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve efficiency and reduce downtime
  • Participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication and repair
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
