Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Sales Assistant to join our NYC team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a well-organized sample room, fulfilling sample orders and requests, and ensuring the showroom visual standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Service: Handle client sample requests, provide product information, and assist clients with their queries.
  • Sample Management: Maintain floor sampling and sample room inventory by ordering samples and replenishing stock.
  • Assisting the Sales Team: Gather and ship samples to clients, and provide support for general showroom requests and projects.
  • Showroom Maintenance: Hang new products, remove discontinued products, and maintain showroom collateral.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to client inquiries, and resolve any issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience working in a retail or showroom environment.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the luxury interior design industry.
  • Exceptional organizational and follow-through skills.
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative.
  • Proficiency in MS Windows and Office suite.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
