Master Chef

We are seeking an experienced Master Chef to join our team at EN FAMILIA INC in Costa Mesa. This is a fantastic opportunity for a culinary specialist to showcase their skills and creativity in preparing delicious meals for our customers.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and providing exceptional customer service. They will be responsible for preparing and serving deli products, maintaining product displays, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their orders.
• Prepare and serve deli products, including meats, cheeses, sandwiches, and salads.
• Maintain product displays and ensure freshness and cleanliness of all items.
• Operate deli equipment safely, including slicers and scales.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and clean environment.
• Process transactions accurately using the cash register and handle payments.
• Restock supplies and assist in inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to meet customer needs and promote a positive shopping experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Deli Manager.

Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in food service or retail is a plus but not required.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
