Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with leadership to establish operational frameworks and business strategies in the local market.
  • Serve as project manager for local initiatives, overseeing schedules, budgets, and quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Maintain effective communication with project design teams, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Engage in business development to nurture new and existing client relationships for future projects.
  • Prepare technical reports that detail building and fire code parameters specific to each project.
  • Design fire protection systems, including suppression, detection, alarm, and mass notification systems.
  • Review project-related design documentation to ensure compliance with life safety codes.
  • Assist senior staff with project-related tasks, including hazard analyses and performance-based design.
  • Conduct reviews of architectural drawings to identify critical egress issues and prepare master egress drawings.
  • Create fire, smoke, and egress models using software such as CONTAM, Pathfinder, and FDS.
  • Develop criteria and review design drawings and specifications for fire sprinkler and alarm systems.
  • Classify and quantify hazardous materials per the International Fire Code, producing chemical hazardous analysis reports based on findings.

Qualifications:

  • Must reside in the local metropolitan area.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Fire Protection, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the field.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel is required.
  • Experience with BlueBeam, AutoCAD, and/or Revit is preferred.
  • Active participation in local professional organizations is encouraged.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with industry professionals and regulatory authorities.
  • Experience in data centers, automotive/battery manufacturing, semiconductor fabrication, and other industrial facilities is advantageous.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Annual salary range of $95,000-130,000, commensurate with experience.
