As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will offer essential technical knowledge on compliance-related projects that encompass a variety of national and international safety standards, product certifications, and environmental guidelines. Your responsibilities will include assessing and analyzing new product concepts, keeping abreast of compliance laws, delivering technical testing assistance, and collaborating with both internal and external teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and analyze new product concepts for safety and regulatory certifications
- Keep abreast of compliance laws and standards
- Deliver technical testing assistance to clients and suppliers
- Collaborate with Engineering and Sales teams to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
- Maintain relationships with regulatory bodies
- Create and manage technical documentation required for safety and certification agencies
- Assist with audits and refine processes to comply with evolving regulations
- Educate colleagues, suppliers, and clients on compliance standards
- Support team members and assist with related tasks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with various product safety regulations and standards
- At least 3 years of experience in compliance engineering
- Project management experience is crucial
- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
- Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
