Job Summary:
Pros Mechanics Recruitment Firm is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to oversee our repair facility in Batavia, NY. This role involves leading a team of diesel technicians and ensuring the highest quality repairs on commercial trucks and trailers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic troubleshooting and repairs on trucks and trailers.
- Liaise with other department managers to discuss operational needs.
- Conduct daily safety meetings.
- Train, mentor, and supervise all new and existing Shop employees.
- Promote positive and professional relationships with all company personnel.
- Oversee repairs to ensure quality and accuracy and assist with vehicle repairs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years diesel mechanic experience and 1 year Supervisor/Lead Mechanic experience working in the Transportation industry.
- Strong management/supervisory, organizational, and computer skills.
- Own set of tools.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to work on Saturday once every six weeks.
Compensation:
