Job Summary

Gem Plumbing & Heating is a leading provider of exceptional customer service and high-quality electrical solutions. We are seeking a skilled Licensed Electrician to join our team and provide top-notch electrical services to our residential customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures
  • Diagnose and repair malfunctioning electrical systems and components
  • Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components
  • Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards and defects
  • Advise management on electrical system safety and compliance with codes
  • Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits
  • Maintain current electrician's license and identification card
  • Plan and install electrical wiring and equipment
  • Direct and train workers to install and maintain electrical systems
  • Prepare sketches and follow blueprints to ensure electrical system safety and compliance
  • Price jobs and calculate time to perform work
  • Complete necessary paperwork for work performed
  • Collect payment from customers
Supervisory Responsibilities

The Licensed Electrician will be responsible for training and working one-on-one with electrical apprentices.

Requirements
  • Must hold Electrical Master or Journeyman license
  • Completed High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years of trade school in Electrical
  • Must be willing to participate in technical continuing education
  • Minimum of 4 years of related work experience preferred
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license with safe driving history
