Pediatric LPN Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric LPN to join our team at Steward Health Care. As a Pediatric LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and adolescents in our pediatric department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general nursing care to pediatric patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Maintain exam rooms and ensure they are equipped with necessary supplies and materials.
  • Prepare patients for physician examinations and provide education on diagnostic procedures, medications, and health maintenance.
  • Observe and record patient condition and reaction to medications and treatments.
  • Dispense medications as directed and educate patients on proper use.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and respond to patient treatment-related phone calls.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • Valid registration as an LPN in the State of Massachusetts.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
