Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Cardiology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing patient care plans, providing education and support to patients and their families, and working closely with our medical team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement patient care plans using the Nursing Process and ANA Standards
  • Provide patient education on medications, pacemakers, defibrillators, and other EP-related procedures
  • Assist with hospital rounds and ensure pertinent medical data is available for physician review
  • Coordinate office-based Pacemaker Clinic, including interrogation of pacemakers and scheduling parameters
  • Screen charts for medication interactions and write prescriptions for physician signature
  • Verify home health order changes and treatment certificates prior to obtaining physician signature
Requirements
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification with American Heart Association
  • One to three years experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • At least five years nursing experience with two years of cardiology/electrophysiology experience
  • Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of residence
