Medical Physicist Opportunity at Genesis Cancer Care Institute

Genesis Cancer Care Institute is seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Medical Physicist, you will play a critical role in providing safe and effective therapeutic radiological physics to our Radiation Oncology Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe therapeutic radiological physics to the Radiation Oncology Department
  • Ensure equipment safety and quality patient care
  • Participate in treatment procedures, patient-specific QA, chart QA, linear accelerator QA, plan checks, and other support activities
  • Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and therapists to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

  • MS or PhD in Medical Physics or related field
  • Board eligible with the intent for certification or board certified by the ABR or ABMP
  • Registered in Iowa as a Radiation Therapy Physicist
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
