Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CDL A Local Delivery Truck Driver to join our team at Sysco. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering fresh produce to our customers in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport products to customers
  • Load and unload products from trailers, using hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain signatures
  • Communicate with management to resolve any issues or discrepancies
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
Requirements
  • Valid CDL A license
  • One year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently
