Cardiology Physician Assistant Opportunity

ECU Health Physicians and ECU Health Heart & Vascular Care are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established cardiology practice in Greenville, NC.

Key Highlights:
  • Employment by ECU Health Physicians-Community Practice Model
  • Hospital privileges at ECU Health Medical Center
  • Established practice of 12 physicians and 4 Advanced Practice Providers
  • Primary clinical responsibilities will be in Greenville, NC with some outreach coverage throughout the region
  • Estimated 40 hours per week
  • Daytime only schedule with rotating weekend coverage
  • Advanced Practice Provider rotation consists of hospital and clinic coverage with weekend coverage every 4th week (extra shift pay for weekend shifts)
  • Inpatient and outpatient responsibilities will include consults, rounding, writing orders, preparing patients for procedures, providing care for new and established patients, assisting with stress tests, and EKG interpretation
  • 29 county referral network that includes 1.4 million residents
  • Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from the American Heart Association
