Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Shape the direction of Capital One's Network Transformation organization, driving the adoption of modern technologies and best practices.
  • Technical Expertise: Collaborate with Cyber, Cloud, and Software Engineering teams to pioneer next-generation technology solutions, leveraging expertise in areas such as Local Area Networks, Cloud Networks, BGP, SD-WAN, VxLAN, Wi-Fi, and software tools like Ansible and Python.
  • Culture and Inclusion: Foster an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives are valued, promoting a culture of engineering excellence and encouraging reuse and innersourcing of solutions.
  • Communication and Influence: Effectively communicate with key stakeholders across the enterprise, influencing decision-making at all levels of the organization.

Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: At least 7 years of software engineering or software development experience using DevOps tools, and at least 7 years of network engineering experience designing and implementing large multi-site networks.
  • Cloud Experience: At least 5 years of public cloud experience (AWS, GCP, Azure).
