Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Electrocardiography courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry, EKGs, and cardiac electrophysiology, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Electrocardiography courses at various times and locations
  • Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
  • Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
  • Utilize a course syllabus for each course, following established institutional guidelines
  • Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
Requirements
  • ACA EKG certification or equivalent
  • At least three years of related job experience with advanced knowledge of telemetry, EKGs, including 12 Lead and Holter monitoring
  • BCLS or ACLS Certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • AHA CPR Certification
  • RN or LVN License
