Key Responsibilities:
Conducts electroencephalograms (EEGs), ambulatory EEGs, and multiple sleep latency tests.

Accountable for documenting the electrical activity of patients' brains to investigate epilepsy, convulsive disorders, and to identify lesions within the cerebrum.

Engages in administrative tasks and contributes to performance enhancement and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Preferred completion of an educational program for EEG technicians.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification upon hire and maintenance of certification.

2 years of experience as an EEG technician is preferred.



  • Associate Degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology from an accredited institution is preferred.
  • Certification from the American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic Technologies (ABRET) is preferred.
