Nurse Practitioner for Hematology/Oncology in South Boston

Sentara Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a rewarding opportunity in the field of Hematology/Oncology located in the picturesque area of South Boston, VA. This position offers a full-time schedule with No Call, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Our supportive and collaborative team is dedicated to providing exceptional care to a diverse patient population within our well-equipped clinic, which features an infusion center, a nurse navigator, and an upcoming palliative care team.
Key Position Features:
- Work alongside 2 experienced MDs and 2 Advanced Practice Providers.
- Standard office hours from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
- Manage an average of 20 patient consultations daily.
- No on-call responsibilities.
- Access to a 10-bed infusion center located on the hospital campus.
- Nurse navigator available on-site to assist with patient care.
- Palliative Care program set to launch in Spring 2024.
