Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at United Stars Holdings, Inc. as a 2nd shift Monday-Friday employee.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Systems Maintenance: Responsible for the safe repair and installation of machines, tools, crane, truck, motor, machine control, generator and power equipment electrical systems, welding machines, controls, motors and machinery.
  • Lighting and Conduit Systems: Install and repair lighting and conduit systems to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Electrical Test and Control Equipment: Assemble electrical test and control equipment to support the maintenance of electrical systems.
  • Malfunction Analysis and Diagnosis: Analyze and diagnose electrical, hydraulic, computer and control malfunctions to identify and resolve issues.
  • General Plant Maintenance: Perform related miscellaneous work as required to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
  • Process and Material Flows: Manage process and material flows, space management, and work with the Engineering group to maximize utilization of space designated for specific operations areas.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: 2-year associate degree or 5 years of related experience and training in Industrial Electronics.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Windows 95, MS Word, Excel, and Access, as well as understanding of high voltage (480/240vac), electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic prints and systems.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated and able to motivate others, with good written and communication skills.
  • Additional Requirements: Willingness to work overtime, follow safety policies and procedures, and maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Working Conditions

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and noise levels. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
