We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in supporting our clinical staff in delivering prescribed treatments and ensuring safe care for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients with end-stage renal disease, supporting clinical staff throughout the dialysis treatment process.
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
- Insert and remove patient access needles, and monitor patients during dialysis, documenting changes and informing charge nurses of any concerns.
- Calculate patients' weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
- Maintain professional working relationships, observing patient privacy and rights, and maintain and track inventory.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous healthcare experience preferred, but not required.
- CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT, and/or phlebotomy skills desired.
- Paid 12-week training with preceptor.
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits.
