Revolutionize Acute Care Telehealth with Equum Medical

At Equum Medical, we're transforming the way patients access critical medical services. As a Virtual Charge Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of acute care telehealth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to deliver virtual nursing care to a diverse adult population across various healthcare settings.
  • Provide remote nursing services to patients in acute and sub-acute care, emergency departments, critical care environments, skilled nursing facilities, and even in patients' homes.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to diagnose clinical problems and define appropriate interventions.
  • Exhibit effective English written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in windows-based computer operations and working knowledge of computer documentation and navigation systems.
  • Possess special skills/equipment including EKG Certification and ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support).
  • Hold a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of current experience in acute or critical care.
  • Critical and acute cardiac care experience.
  • 1+ years of leadership experience.
  • Implement nursing process, including assessments, care planning, and coordination based on evidence-based protocols.
  • Prioritize patient advocacy, proactive monitoring, and safe, efficient, patient-centered care.
  • Delegate and supervise support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
