ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Responsible for the proficient and professional execution of financial service tasks.
Communicates and elucidates Credit Union offerings and solutions to members, aiding them in fulfilling their financial objectives. Manages account openings and closures. Processes check orders for member accounts. Completes payroll deductions and authorization forms.

Addresses inquiries and resolves issues for members by actively listening, gathering information, providing solutions, and reporting back to the concerned party.

Rectifies member account reconciliation discrepancies.
Renews and updates certificate accounts.
Receives and directs member inquiries and phone calls. Responds to questions or directs them as necessary. Records and relays messages.
Conducts file maintenance and account modifications as required.
Provides information regarding IRAs.

Assumes responsibility for establishing and nurturing effective, professional relationships with members.
Addresses member requests and inquiries promptly, courteously, and professionally.
Keeps members informed about Credit Union services and policies.
Maintains and enhances the Credit Union's professional image.

Assumes responsibility for fostering effective coordination and collaboration with area personnel and management.
Supports area personnel as needed.
Keeps supervisor updated on area activities and significant issues.
Completes required reports and records accurately and in a timely manner.
Participates in meetings as necessary.

Assumes responsibility for additional duties as required or assigned.
Actively and professionally promotes Credit Union services.
Performs related tasks as needed.
Ensures work area is organized, secure, and well-maintained.
Complies with the U.S. Patriot Act and the Credit Union's Bank Secrecy and OFAC Policies and Procedures.

Adheres to the Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and the Credit Union's Information Security program, safeguarding the privacy and security of information, systems, and locations.


PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS
Member services functions are carried out efficiently, effectively, and accurately in line with established policies, standards, and security protocols.
Strong business relations are maintained with members. Member issues or inquiries are resolved courteously and promptly. Effective assistance is provided for member account reconciliation issues.
Good working relationships, DEI, and collaborative initiatives are fostered with credit union personnel and management. Appropriate support is provided to area staff as needed. Supervisors are kept informed of area activities.
Required reports and records are accurate, complete, and timely.
The Credit Union's professional reputation is upheld and conveyed.

Requirements:

EDUCATION/

CERTIFICATION:

High school diploma or equivalent.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:

Solid understanding of financial services and products offered.
Knowledge of member account reconciliation processes.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

No prior experience required, but related office experience is preferred.

SKILLS/
