Job Summary:Cone Health is seeking a well-trained and highly motivated Non-Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiologist to join our HeartCare team in Burlington, North Carolina. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our cardiovascular program.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct and indirect patient care to assigned areas
- Participate in clinical research projects of interest
- Provide accurate and timely documentation and sign off of care to establish up-to-date medical records for billing purposes
- Participate in liaison duties with other professional staff and in development of patient referral sources
- Keep referring physicians informed of care and outcomes
- Utilizes literature and attends regional and national meetings to remain current and professionally competent
- Participates in patient, staff, and professional education programs
- Models and upholds the professional standards of Cone Health, including the Medical Staff By-Laws, Service Excellence commitments, practice standards, physician expectations, and professional image standards
- Acts in concert with Cone Health's Mission, Vision, and Values
