We are currently seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to enhance our operations. Candidates should possess prior experience in operating press machines, particularly in the realms of steel production or sheet metal processing.

Work Schedule: Second shift hours are Monday to Thursday from 3:30 PM to 2:00 AM.

Compensation: Salary ranges from $25.00 to $27.50 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour shift premium. Starting wages will be determined based on experience.

To attract exceptional talent, we are offering a $3,200 Hiring Bonus for the Press Brake Operator role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate various types of sheet metal machinery, including Amada/Accurpress, S-4, P-4, corner former, and apron brake for shearing, punching, and forming metal or other materials.
  • Evaluate blueprints and corresponding parts to determine the most suitable tooling for bending operations, including selecting the appropriate machinery.
  • Assemble, align, and install tooling according to specifications using feelers, shims, templates, or other necessary items for each part.
  • Adjust or program machines for each task in accordance with shop routing and mechanical drawings.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent educational experience (GED); or a combination of education and experience.
  • Completion of a vocational program and/or three years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and utilize calipers for precise measurements.
  • Experience with press brake and sheet metal fabrication machinery, demonstrating the ability to set up and operate effectively.
