HVAC Project Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled HVAC Project Engineer to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager with various aspects of project execution, including takeoff, estimating, and change order management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Project Manager with takeoff, estimating, and change order management to ensure accurate project cost forecasting and billing.
  • Collaborate with the Purchasing Department to manage scope, price, and delivery of purchased items, ensuring timely installation and coordination among stakeholders.
  • Manage job progress onsite, leveraging your design expertise to solve emergent operational and installation challenges.
  • Oversee and process daily administrative items, including document control, RFIs, and procurement logs, as directed by the Project Manager.
  • Coordinate project personnel activities to ensure timely project completion and budget adherence.
  • Escalate potential problems and assist the Sr. Project Manager in driving solutions to complete resolution.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and building services.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
