Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee backend engineering for BIG BALLERS VR, utilizing Typescript, Node, and Postgres.
  • Develop essential API systems that underpin gameplay, core infrastructure, networking, streaming, and artificial intelligence.
  • Work closely with the co-founders to design highly scalable, dependable, and efficient systems.
  • Enhance APIs for minimal latency and maximum bandwidth traffic, catering to millions of users daily.
  • Lead backend recruitment and team expansion as responsibilities grow.
Qualifications
  • Experience with Scale: Proven track record of serving millions of users daily across web or mobile platforms in startups, gaming, or social domains.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Dedication to ongoing learning, transparency, and teamwork to collectively deliver an exceptional product.
  • Product Insight: Background in designing, launching, and refining features to enhance User Experience.
  • Developer Focus: Enthusiasm for streamlining development processes for yourself and your team, enhancing the Developer User Experience.
