Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Quality Inspector to join our team. As a Production Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by conducting inspections, testing, and evaluating our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct inspections of parts using precision measuring tools, including Romer Arm, CMM, Planar, and hand tools.
  • Understand and use manufacturing ERP systems to track and manage quality data.
  • Follow instructions, procedures, specifications, and requirements for all jobs.
  • Complete documentation properly and accurately according to our quality standards.
  • Interpret customer drawings and perform inspections for conformance.
  • Critical thinking to uphold quality requirements in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Preferred understanding of AS9100, ISO, and Nadcap requirements.
  • Able to perform visual weld inspection and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a Quality position in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of basic inspection gauges, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
  • Understanding of drawings, blueprints, and basic GD&T.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow customer specifications, internal procedures, safety policies, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. if/when needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • A working understanding of Quality requirements, customer flow-downs, AS9100/ISO approvals.
