Physical Therapist Float Position

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at MedStar Health. As a Physical Therapist Float, you will provide physical therapy services to patients in various outpatient clinics, including Rosedale, Perry Hall, and Bel Air.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evaluation services, including review of historical information, performance of assessments, and determination of recommendations.
- Explain evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and families, incorporating their input in goal setting.
- Implement treatment protocols based on evaluation findings and patient presentation.
- Consult with other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Recognize and document changes in patient condition, modifying the plan of care or seeking medical/rehabilitation consultation as necessary.
- Complete discharge planning and follow-up care.
- Accurately and timely document and charge for patient care activities.
- Demonstrate effective time management and meet productivity expectations.
- Manage an accurate schedule.
- Provide frictionless patient access to care through flexibility, adaptability, and creativity.
- Take initiative in pursuing continuing education for professional growth and competency.
- Serve as a clinical instructor and assist with orientation and mentoring of inexperienced staff, students, volunteers, and technicians.
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Physical Therapy.
- Maryland, District of Columbia (DC), and/or Virginia licensure required.
- American Heart Association's BLS (Basic Life Support) for Healthcare Providers CPR (Cardiac Pulmonary Resuscitation) certification.
This position has a hiring range of $72,758 - $123,260.
