Job Title: Diesel Technician

Join our team of skilled technicians at Love's Travel Stops and Country Stores, where we're dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Diesel Technician to join our team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing light mechanical issues on diesel engines, including wheel-end assemblies, electrical systems, suspensions, A/C, and engine components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines and related systems
  • Assist customers with roadside services and provide preventative maintenance
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain clean facilities with friendly faces
  • Interact with customers and drivers from all over, making their travels and their day better
  • Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds, and work in various temperatures
  • Always put the safety and satisfaction of customers first, complying with company safety policies and procedures
  • Work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night as needed
  • Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (paid by Love's)
