MRI Technologist for Virginia Assignment

Aureus Medical Group - Imaging is seeking a highly skilled MRI technologist to join their team for a travel assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This 15-week contract will provide the successful candidate with a unique opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art hospital environment and develop their skills in magnetic resonance imaging.
About the Job
This MRI technologist position is available immediately, with an ASAP start date. The successful candidate will be required to work 40 hours per week, with an 8-hour shift. The estimated weekly pay for this role is between $2,084.00 and $2,164.00, which translates to an hourly rate of approximately $15.00-$17.00 per hour. In addition to the taxable income, the technologist will also receive a tax-free stipend of around $1,484.00 per week.
Responsibilities
- To operate the GE 450W 1.5 T MRI scanner and perform routine scans of the brain, spine, orthopedic, body, abdominal, and cardiac areas.
- To maintain accurate records of patient information, scan protocols, and equipment maintenance.
- To work collaboratively with other medical professionals to ensure the highest level of patient care.
Requirements
- ARRT-MR (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
