Your duties will include preparing for surveys, touring facilities, observing care, reviewing records, and interviewing staff and families. You will evaluate various aspects of the healthcare facility system, including the quality of care, consumers' rights, and physical plant. Your goal will be to determine if care, treatment, and services are consistent with Federal requirements. You will communicate non-compliance issues with key personnel and determine if plans of correction are acceptable. You will also conduct follow-up visits and monitoring surveys to ensure facilities' plans of correction have been implemented.
