Job Summary:

Nurses Etc. Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will play a critical role in the diagnosis and treatment of patients by performing laboratory tests and analyzing results.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests, including blood counts, urinalyses, and microbiological cultures.
  • Analyze test results and report findings to healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct quality control checks on laboratory equipment and supplies.
  • Develop and implement laboratory procedures and protocols.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate and timely test results.

Requirements:

  • Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
  • Graduation from a medical laboratory technician training program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) or the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (ABHES).
  • Certification/registration as determined by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or American Medical Technologist (AMT).
  • One year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
