About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Cedar Lake Village, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing quality care and service to seniors in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under the supervision of a charge nurse.
  • Assist residents with basic health care needs, including daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, and dressing/undressing.
  • Obtain and record vital signs, provide psychosocial support, and assist with meal preparation and dining.
  • May administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse and within their scope of practice as defined by state regulations.
  • Document outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity, and dietary.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred.
  • Minimum age of 16.
  • Required Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
  • Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing and maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year.
