About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Creative Solutions in Healthcare - East. As a key member of our rehabilitation staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer physical therapy treatments to alleviate pain, enhance functionality, and accelerate healing processes.
  • Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, adhering to physician orders and implementing treatment plans as directed.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, relaying information and referrals to Physical Therapists as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and modify treatment plans, ensuring effective patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress, recording motor function, strength, and muscle performance data.
  • Modify treatment approaches and directives based on patient response, working closely with interdisciplinary teams.
  • Offer clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers, ensuring comprehensive care.
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation, complying with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Attend designated meetings as required by the Director of Rehab.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Active/Valid Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
  • SNF/Long-term care experience preferred
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices
  • Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred
  • Ability to manage diverse patient personalities
