Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist 3 to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will provide high-quality care to patients newborn to 20 years of age, meeting established standards for speech-language pathology.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients and develop effective treatment plans, implementing evidence-based interventions to achieve functional outcomes.
  • Provide clinical oversight to Speech-Language Pathology Aides, Rehabilitation Aides, and students, ensuring they meet departmental standards for content, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Participate in maintaining a safe work environment, adhering to Joint Commission readiness standards.
  • Travel to clinical locations to provide patient care, support program development, and contract obligations with physician practices.
  • Serve as a resource and mentor to other staff, providing orientation, in-services, and clinical guidance as requested.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Communication Disorders/Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Georgia licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience in a specialized area.
  • 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Leadership skills for program development and clinical operations.
