Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide recommendations on various cuts and preparation of products.
  • Meat Department Maintenance: Keep meat department cases well-stocked and appealing, rotate product as needed, and ensure that meat is fresh and in saleable condition.
  • Order Taking and Fulfillment: Take orders for future delivery and help fill special requests.
  • Product Handling and Safety: Handle product that is spoiled, damaged, or close to expiration, and adhere to all food and personal safety codes when handling product or utilizing kitchen tools.
  • Sanitation and Cleaning: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the meat department, and follow cleaning schedules and department guidelines.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in minimizing shrink and controlling damages, and report shortages or overages to management.
Requirements
  • Education: Completed or working towards a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • Experience: No prior experience required.
