Job Title: Medical Specialist 1

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Specialist 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients, conducting physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and determining and confirming diagnoses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Interpret test results and determine diagnoses.
  • Prescribe and administer treatments, medications, and therapies as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve treatment goals and objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers to ensure understanding of diagnoses and treatment plans.

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice medicine in New York State.
  • Must have completed a residency training program in a specialty approved by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME).
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
