Job Title: Residential Clinician

Sound is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Residential Clinician to join our team at Parks Place. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing therapeutic interventions for residents, including treatment planning, goal setting, and progress monitoring.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct services such as individual and group counseling, assessments, case management, and treatment planning.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and timely clinical records according to organization policy.
  • Comply with trainings and licensing standards per county expectations for a Residential Treatment facility (RTF) and state guidelines for assisted living facility (ALF).
  • Prepare necessary reports, summaries, and progress notes, and incorporate them into clinical records.
  • Assist clients in remaining stable in the community, reducing the use of hospitals or involuntary treatment services.
  • Monitor medication regimes and treatment compliance.
  • Monitor utilization of services and the success of outcome measures.
  • Participate in team member meetings, consultations, case presentations, and in-service training.
  • Participate in ongoing program development and assessment.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in a Mental Health Professional (MHP) eligible program preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with MHP designation required.
  • Experience with case management, assessments, Motivational Interviewing, Harm Reduction Model, and Trauma-Informed Care preferred.
  • Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with residents and staff and have sound judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively under supervision and independently when necessary.
  • Ability to apply crisis intervention skills and manage potentially volatile situations.
  • Ability to promote and support the use of recovery principles.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and personal interaction skills.
  • Ability to do simple mathematics.
  • Proven assessment skills to evaluate resident functioning.
