  • Provide user application support and training.
  • Assist in inventory management.
  • Communicate issues and concerns expressed by end users.
Requirements:
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
  • Interested in information technology or information systems.
  • Must enjoy some physical labor and be organized.
  • Must be enrolled at Sul Ross State University and in good standing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Basic analytical and computer skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize and work effectively with an understanding of policies and procedures.
  • Desire to learn about standards, guidelines, and best practices relative to information technology.
  • Ability to work on a ladder.
About the Position:

This position is part of the Title III STEM Lobotrack to Success (LTS) SRSU STEM Internship Program, offering a unique opportunity to gain knowledge, experience, and professional connections in the STEM field. Students will have access to professional development tools throughout the internship program, including resume building, interview practices, and more. Additionally, the student must present at the SRSU Student Symposium.
