Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Expeditor to join our team. As an Expeditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production floor by moving parts from one department to another in accordance with our established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the movement of parts between departments, ensuring timely delivery and accurate tracking.
  • Verify job orders for accuracy and completeness, and report any discrepancies to the Production Supervisor.
  • Conduct daily rounds to collect parts from the production floor and deliver them to the next department for processing.
  • Monitor the progress of parts through the production process, identifying and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Collaborate with the Production Supervisor to optimize production workflows and improve efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate records of part movement and production status.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production or logistics role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
