About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavior Therapist to join our team at KGH Autism Services. As a Behavior Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) to develop essential skills and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with ASD in various settings, including homes, schools, centers, and communities.
  • Teach individuals with ASD to communicate effectively, develop social skills, and function independently, while reducing inappropriate behaviors and improving mental health.
  • Collect and analyze data to demonstrate client progress toward reaching their goals, using our proprietary electronic data collection software for real-time decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), clients' families, and other technicians at clinical team meetings to report client progress and receive feedback from supervisors.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting clients, packages, or equipment up to 50lbs, accessing non-barrier-free premises, and using physical management techniques when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification.
  • Certificate in First Aid and CPR Training.
  • Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly pay ranging from $17.25 to $23 per hour.
  • Preference and higher pay will be given to candidates with experience, RBT certification, and/or a Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5.5 weeks of paid time off in the first year.
  • Guaranteed 40 hours for full-time employees.
  • Paid RBT training and certificate, with an increase in pay once the certificate is completed.
