Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

Welcome customers warmly as they enter, providing prompt and efficient service while expressing appreciation for their business.


Cash Management:
Proficiently handle transactions using an electronic cash register, ensuring accuracy in sales. Manage returns and exchanges with ease.

Shift Transition Duties:

Play a key role in the shift transition process by accurately counting cash at the start and end of shifts.


Specialty Transactions:

Utilize specialized equipment to handle various transactions, including money orders, credit card sales, checks, and lottery transactions.


ID Verification:
Responsibly enforce age restrictions by checking identifications for regulated sales.

Stock Management:
Ensure shelves are well-stocked and organized for our late-night customers, maintaining a behind-the-scenes support role.

Cleanliness Standards:

Uphold a clean environment by sanitizing all areas and equipment, adhering to proper cleaning protocols.


Waste Management:
Maintain cleanliness by regularly emptying trash receptacles and ensuring the premises are tidy.

Vendor Coordination:
Verify vendor deliveries according to company policies, ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and displayed properly. Remove any damaged or expired items.

Problem Resolution:
Address issues proactively by completing necessary forms for damaged merchandise, contributing to operational excellence.

Versatile Team Player:
Embrace a variety of tasks and responsibilities as needed to support store operations.

Qualifications

Age Requirement:

Must be at least 18 years old in specified states; 21 years or older in others.


Availability:
Must be willing to work weekends and holidays, aligning with retail demands.

Communication Skills:
Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.

Mathematical Skills:
Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, are necessary.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Background Check:
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening and a criminal history background check is required.

Personable Attitude:
