Job Responsibilities

As a Quality Medical Technician (QMT), you will:

  • Administer medications and obtain vital signs.
  • Assist in sick call using medical protocols.
  • Communicate with the facility or on-call Medical Provider.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and perform life-saving measures.
  • Collect laboratory specimens, as needed.
  • Maintain accurate patient charts.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must:

  • Hold active CPR certification.
  • Have a minimum of 6 months of experience in the medical field.
  • Be certified as an EMT, QMA, or CMA (highly preferred).
  • Be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
