As a PACU Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring a smooth transition for patients from the operating room to the recovery area.
Responsibilities- Oversee and direct the care of post-surgical patients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Monitor patients' vital signs, administer medications, and perform various medical procedures as needed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive and empowering experience.
- Rotate to various areas within the hospital, including the operating room, recovery area, and other departments as needed.
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- ACLS & PALS Certifications.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. BSN Preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience required. PACU, Ambulatory, Critical Care or ED experience preferred.
