BAYADA Nurse Residency Program

The BAYADA Nurse Residency Program is a comprehensive transition-to-practice program designed for new graduate nurses seeking a rewarding career in home care.

Our program focuses on creating a collaborative learning environment where new graduate nurses can develop their critical thinking and nursing skills while working with children and adults in the home.

A dedicated team of clinical coaches, seasoned clinicians, and preceptors will provide ongoing support and guidance as you transition into your career in home care nursing.

This paid, full-time, intensive 6-week training program, followed by a 9-month residency period, helps bridge the gap between the classroom and real-world practice, providing a smoother transition into a professional nursing role.

You will develop confidence in your clinical skills and judgment, enhance your critical thinking, refine your time management skills, and more, all in a safe and nurturing environment.

You will be prepared to provide meaningful, one-on-one care for adults in their homes.

Responsibilities:

  • Assessments
  • Training and education of family members
  • Medication administration of prescribed treatments and therapies
  • Communication with other members of the patient's multidisciplinary team

Qualifications:

  • Current LPN license in good standing in Arizona
  • Current CPR certification
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
