This role offers a competitive sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. The Radiologic Intervention Specialist plays a crucial role in assisting physicians during image-guided minimally invasive procedures aimed at diagnosing and treating various medical conditions.
Key ResponsibilitiesIn this position, you will:
- Deliver exceptional patient care while performing a diverse range of procedures.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques, including CT, MRI, and ultrasound, to guide instruments such as catheters and wires.
- Maintain a sterile environment and ensure the quality of imaging results.
- Collaborate closely with the Interventional Radiologist and nursing staff to facilitate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Prepare and administer contrast materials, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process.
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor their well-being during procedures.
- Process digital data for imaging records, ensuring high technical quality and proper identification.
This position requires a commitment to a full-time schedule with rotating shifts, including opportunities for extended hours. Participation in periodic weekend and off-hour call is expected.
QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
- A degree from an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Licensure from the relevant state regulatory body.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
