Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team, focusing on the educational sector. This role is essential for supporting students with communication challenges and enhancing their academic experience.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will:

  • Evaluate student communication abilities, identify disorders, and assess eligibility for services.
  • Facilitate meetings such as testing, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and parent conferences to discuss evaluation outcomes and develop intervention strategies.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including treatment plans, progress reports, and necessary correspondence to track student development.
  • Address inquiries from parents, educators, and staff regarding student progress and communication needs.
  • Manage Medicaid billing in accordance with district regulations.

Qualifications:
Candidates must possess:

  • ASHA certification or be a Clinical Fellow.
  • A valid Virginia SLP license, either provisional or full.
