Job Description:

The Enovis Co-Op program is seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our team as Co-op Engineers in the Surgical Division. As a Co-op Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from proposal to final design and release, and will be an integral part of our cross-functional team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Participation: Participate as an active member of the New Product Development Team, assisting in identifying surgeon requirements and product characteristics, and conferring with cross-functional teams to complete tasks as assigned.
  • Design and Development: Assist Product Development Engineers in creating product designs, using 3-D Modeling to document designs and design changes, and completing the Design Dossier.
  • Surgeon Engagement: Participate in surgeon symposia, focus groups, and KOL meetings to gather feedback and insights.
  • Project Management: Assist in road mapping projects, develop project plans using appropriate planning software, and report on project progress to upper management.
  • Documentation and Quality: Maintain all documentation necessary for a Design History File (DHF), including Design Input Documents, Design Validation Plans/Reports, Test Protocols/Reports, and Design Input/Output Matrix.
Requirements:
  • Education: Must complete at least the first two years of undergraduate degree in engineering and maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
  • Experience: Working on completion of a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bio-medical Engineering with mechanical track emphasis, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Extreme interest in medical devices and/or orthopedics is required.
