Job Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing manufacturing processes for building, testing, and delivering spacecrafts and components. This role requires a strong understanding of technical engineering drawings, bills of material, and technical documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement manufacturing processes for spacecraft and component production
  • Ensure design compliance with manufacturing and test requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements
  • Provide hands-on support for product and process development
  • Manage manufacturing build schedules to meet program deadlines
Requirements:
  • BS or AAS degree in an Engineering field or 0-5 years of related aerospace experience
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical engineering drawings and bills of material
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead group discussions

This role operates in a professional office environment with standard equipment such as computers, phones, and scanners. The employee must be able to sit for long periods, stand, bend, reach, and walk. The position requires light physical effort, lifting objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities are required, including close vision, distance vision, and adjusting focus.
