ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this position, you will work from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays. As the HVAC Installation Lead, you will oversee and mentor installation personnel, establish work priorities, and assess performance to maximize productivity. Your responsibilities will include coordinating installation schedules, communicating with homeowners and building inspectors, and ensuring timely ordering of materials and equipment.
Additional duties involve visiting job sites to monitor progress and quality, providing training on material usage and workmanship, and managing job documentation. You will also be involved in cutting, constructing, and installing ductwork and furnaces as necessary, securing job permits, coordinating inspections, and preparing related paperwork. Addressing customer concerns, evaluating staff training needs, and delivering both classroom and on-the-job training to your team will also be part of your role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential installation
- Proven experience in leading a team of HVAC installers
- EPA certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
- Familiarity with smartphones, email, and Microsoft Outlook
Having a NATE certification would be advantageous.
