About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Process Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering, particularly in the field of plastic shaping and injection molding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to injection molding processes.
- Design and construct devices aimed at process optimization.
- Oversee the procurement, commissioning, and enhancement of peripheral machinery.
- Conduct sampling of new tools and materials to ensure quality standards.
- Initiate and optimize machine operations for efficiency.
- Propose improvements to existing processes and methodologies.
- Collaborate with material producers to align process data.
- Facilitate the sampling and setup for new product lines.
- Ensure process approval for customer projects and fitters.
- Drive initiatives for scrap reduction and enhance tool/machine cycle times.
- Prepare comprehensive handover and shift reports.
- Foster the development of people skills within the team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in injection molding or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in organizational structures, removal techniques, programming techniques, and pneumatics.
