**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team as a Pediatric Transport Specialist at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our transport team, you will provide critical care and safe transportation to pediatric patients via various modes of transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize critical thinking skills and established guidelines to function as a mobile intensive care unit
  • Provide respiratory care and support to critically ill and injured pediatric patients
  • Serve as a clinical role model, resource, and mentor for colleagues

Requirements:

  • Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of two years of recent pediatric critical care experience
  • Required certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS (provider or instructor), NRP (provider or instructor) within 3 months of hire, and completion of a nationally recognized trauma course within six months of hire
  • Licenses: Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care and active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license with the Texas Medical Board required

Estimated Salary:** $70,000 - $90,000 per year
